Data released this week by the U.S. Census Bureau shows that Illinois’ population has declined for the 10th straight year. We will continue to lose residents unless we make major policy changes, with high taxes being cited as the top reason why residents are leaving the state.
We need to make Illinois a state that is more affordable, more business-friendly, and a safer place to call home so we can become a destination for growth again.
